In the workshop this week we explored aspects of architecture. We were going to venture further afield; however due to the weather conditions we were confined to the campus and explored the buildings structures instead. I took a few images of certain areas and designs I found unique and interesting, which are below.
I like the darkness most in these images. I think it really enhances the structure and materials in between and stops the viewer becoming distracted. I also like how light comes through in both and how it creates a strong contrast. I especially like the lighting in the bottom of the first image as it gives a neon feel which is something I find aesthetically pleasing and connotes a retro vibe.
